It is interesting to see how Juan de Andrés performs the reconstruction of the visual phenomenon, as it structures each work from the form: establishing different plans, because that way the light also plays; Establishing gaps, almost always, because there is also a third dimension there; establishing small breaks or adding in the straight lines - in some of them - to create a point of suggestion, of inflection. And structure the work from color: dark, earthy ranges ... subtle in its contrast, suggestive in the opposite treatment of surface values of the surface. Color and shape, then: they enter a game of proportions and nuances that constitute the structure of the work of this artist.
