Our MISSION it is:

• The permanent exhibition of the artistic work of Josep Guinovart integrated into the Space that bears its name, its maintenance, use, administration and conservation, as well as its founding fund that now has more than 300 works.
• Promotion, dissemination and defense of artistic expressions and particularly contemporary art in various forms of expression, in particular through the relationship with schools, so that children and young people can participate in the knowledge of the demonstrations artistic of contemporary art and to be able to appreciate it better.
• The organization of studies, seminars, courses, conferences, colloquia, publications, exhibitions and any other activity aimed at artistic education and the improvement of the sensitivity of the citizens regarding the type of manifestations, works of art and thought mentioned above.

OUR VISION it is:

• Unveil the artistic work of Josep Guinovart to the new generations, as one of the most important Catalan Catalan painters of the second half of the 20th century.
• To reach as many schools as possible, offering quality educational workshops to bring them closer to the work of Josep Guinovart as well as contemporary art in general.
• Make the population of Agramunt a center of reference in contemporary art in Catalonia by creating synergies with other art centers of both Catalonia and the State as well as the rest of the world.

• 1995 ACCA Award (Catalan Association of Art Critics), for the creation of an authentic contemporary art environment with the work of one of its most outstanding artists.
• 2003 VI Cultural Culturals awards, awarded by the Tàrrega Cultural Center.
• 2005 Lleidatur Prize, granted by the Tourism Board of the Diputació de Lleida.
• 2009 ACCA Prize (Catalan Association of Art Critics), for the coherence of the Guinovart Cycle program and the foundations of the new realisms, a project led by Carles M. Sanuy and commissioned by José Corredor-Matheos.
• 2015 National Prize of Culture, granted by CONCA, National Council of Culture and Arts.
• 2017 Creu de Sant Jordi, granted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, for the impetus given to the dissemination and study of the work of Josep Guinovart.
• 2019 Bonnart Cultural Arts Visual Magazine Award, for the Foundation's work in the lands of Lleida
