Anna Llimós

Domestic territories

Anna Llimós presents us with a slow and sensitive look at the world that surrounds. Her work reflects on space, trace and memory, which. remains of us when we are gone, what remains in us of those that are no longer there and have preceded us. Llimós lives a process of introspection, deepening in memory, in the past and, therefore, also in oblivion. Erase, erase and manipulate the past from the present, but it also preserves it, transforms it and makes it survive. And, to do so, It uses very varied and versatile techniques, ranging from frottage to embossing, through digital and technological media, drawing and also engraving or, sometimes, with less orthodox techniques, such as the degradation of materials exposed to sunlight.
