The self-taught photographer Toni Catany (Lluchmajor 1942) moved to Barcelona in 1967, where he began working on reports for the newspaper La Vanguardia and the magazine Destino, he made his first photographic exhibition in 1972 and since since then he has made more than a hundred, as well as authoring numerous award-winning books and the French government in 1991 named him Chevalier de l'ordre de les arts et les lettres

 

Now the artist inaugurates in the remodeled Peti Espai of our Foundation a sample of 15 large format photographs corresponding to different eras, styles and themes including the still lifes and the seven photographs of Mallorcan women of the 70s
