Maria Girona transmitted a poetic sensibility to post-war painting, stopping her attention on the fragments of reality that have always accompanied her, the landscape and still life, an inspiration that is part of the Mediterranean tradition, which assimilates culture and landscape, and that since Noucentisme coexists and transfigures feelings and sensations through these intimately subjective themes.

The exhibition of fourteen paintings that he now presents at the Espai Guinovart in Agramunt allows us to tour both his most recent works, as well as to serve as a witness and correspondence with the personality and work of Guinovart himself. The selection illustrates how the themes are inherent in the author's experiences and with it transmit a conviction of life through their reflected testimonies: Granada, Cap de Creus, Normandy or New York or the observation of the light in their constructions of flowers and fruit trees
