Trencant lĂmits.

Josep Guinovart.

Museu Victor Balaguer de Vilanova i la GeltrĂș

"I constantly need the resource not to transgress, but to leave the limit of what is painting" Josep Guinovart.

Deia Guinovart said that the flag he liked most was the pirate flag, a symbol for him, of freedom and transgression. Broken fabrics, canvas taken from their frame, burned frames ... All pieces become pirate flags that demand a new way of conceiving the works, which want to capture the viewer's eyes and invite him to widen his vision and concept of art

This exhibition wants to show how Guinovart through his work seeks to overcome the limits, go beyond the land known and, free of academicisms and norms, finds his own language.

The blue, now without barriers that constrict it, become oceans and ochers, turn into territories without horizons.

Guinovart leaves his testament as a privateer in these works.
