Guinovart, le parisien
Josep Guinovart.
Institut Francès de Barcelona
Thanks to a scholarship from the French State, Guinovart spent a 9-month stay in Paris in 1953, where he comes into contact with painters, writers and musicians who open their doors to a world full of freedom and change. This exhibition is a selection of the work done in Paris as well as of later works where it is evident the point of inflection that represented this journey in the artist's career: a figurative Guinovart that is gradually leaving a more classical language to create your own alphabet.
